Installation Notes
Hestan access doors build into a non-combustible masonry or steel-frame island. Frame the opening to the Hestan cutout listed above and keep it square and level so the doors align, and confirm the island depth before the countertop is set. Hestan approves its outdoor products for outdoor use only and may change specifications without notice, so check the cutout against the current Hestan installation instructions supplied with the unit.
In New York City, terrace and rooftop outdoor kitchens in multifamily buildings usually need building or board approval, and any gas or plumbing run through the island must be done by licensed trades.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which finishes are available?
Steeletto stainless plus eleven Hestan signature colors; the colored finishes are priced above stainless.
What cutout does it need?
39-7/8 in wide by 19 in high, per the Hestan Outdoor Specifications.
Will it match my Hestan grill?
Yes. The recessed Marquise-accented panels and commercial-grade handles match Hestan built-in grills and tower carts.
Is there a box behind the doors?
No. Access doors are a frame only, so the island bay behind them stays open for gas lines, a shutoff valve or a tank.
