American Fyre Designs GFRC fire tables in the same series. Size, weight and burner differ; confirm clearances and fuel before ordering.

The American Fyre Designs Iron Saddle Firetable (580 series) is a handcrafted outdoor gas fire table made in the USA by R.H. Peterson Co. Its body is handcrafted GFRC concrete with a 5 x 3 ft top surface, it burns on a stainless steel gas burner, and it measures 37-1/2 in. w x 60 in. d x 16-1/2 in. h.

Choose natural gas or propane and either the Manual Flame Sensing push-button ignition (M models) or FyreStarter Bluetooth electronic ignition (H models) in the options, plus the finish color. Fire media is purchased separately. Propane installations use a remote tank, such as a matching AFD tank/end table.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

  • Included: Iron Saddle Firetable with burner, burner pan and the selected ignition system
  • Required: fire media (fire glass, lava rock or logs), sold separately, such as the AFD Fyre Glass 40 lb bucket
  • Required: a natural gas line run by a licensed plumber, or a propane tank and hose

Installation Notes

Install outdoors only, on a level non-combustible surface, by an NFI certified or other qualified installer, keeping the clearances in the AFD manual.

In New York City natural gas work requires a licensed master plumber and permit, and the FDNY restricts propane on terraces and rooftops. Book an outdoor living design consultation to plan the gas line and seating area.

What is the difference between M and H models?

M models use a manual flame-sensing push-button igniter; H models use FyreStarter electronic ignition with Bluetooth control and a higher BTU rating on the high setting.

Can it be used under a roof?

Follow the overhead and side clearances in the AFD manual; it is for outdoor use only.

Warranty

American Fyre Designs limited warranty by R.H. Peterson Co. (owner's manual): GFRC fire tables and burners are warranted for three (3) years against defects in material and workmanship; electrical components, valves, accessories and controls (excluding batteries, wind guards and screens) for one (1) year. It applies to the original purchaser in the United States or Canada and excludes damage from burning wood or other fuels and from high-wind use. Refer to the manual for full terms.
