The Kenyon All Seasons Frontier Portable B70090 is a 1,300 W, 120 V electric grill with a stainless lid and carry handles that sets on a counter, table or deck and plugs into a grounded outlet. Its concealed element heats a nonstick grate from below for grill marks without open flame or flare-ups, which makes it a practical grill for apartments, terraces, RVs and boats.

Installation Notes

Set the grill on a stable, level surface and plug it into a grounded 120 V outlet on a circuit protected by a breaker, with no extension cord and the GFCI device left in place. Kenyon asks owners to store the portable grill indoors when it is not in use, to add about 2 cups of water to the drip tray before cooking, and to empty the tray after every use. In New York City, FDNY rules restrict propane and charcoal grilling on the balconies and terraces of multifamily buildings, which is why many apartment owners choose an electric grill; building rules still vary, so confirm with your board or management before you buy.

Warranty

Kenyon warrants its grills against defects in materials and workmanship for three (3) years from the date of original installation or 42 months from the invoice date, whichever comes first, covering parts and labor at pre-approved rates; the stainless steel carries a lifetime guarantee to stay rust free when it is cared for monthly as the owner's manual describes. The unit must be returned to Kenyon for evaluation, and failures from glass breakage, corrosion, wear and tear, abuse, neglect, or improper installation or maintenance are excluded (Kenyon statement of warranty).
