Description
Description
Fits: Majestic Ashland 50 wood-burning fireplace (ASH50), 50 in. x 38 in. fireplace opening
The Majestic DFG4050BK is the black bi-fold glass door kit made for the 50 in. Ashland radiant wood-burning fireplace. It closes off the wide 50 in. by 38 in. opening when the fire is out, cutting heat loss up the chimney, and folds back to keep the firebrick and flame in full view.
Majestic offers bi-fold glass doors as the factory door option for the Ashland series, so the frame matches the fireplace face. Order it with the fireplace or add it later.

- Black finish, per the model code (BK)
- Covers the 50 in. x 38 in. Ashland 50 firebox opening

Install the door kit on the Ashland 50 following the instructions packed with the doors and the Ashland installation manual. Use only Majestic-listed doors on a Majestic wood fireplace; unlisted doors can cause overheating and void the warranty. New York City does not permit new wood-burning fireplaces under Local Law 38 of 2015, so we sell Majestic wood-burning fireplaces for installations outside the five boroughs where local code allows them.
