Description

The Majestic PH-MCE is the non-ducted Passive Heat starting collar kit for the Majestic Echelon II. Passive Heat moves warm air out through a discharge opening above the fireplace, and these collars are required for that system; the vent trims are sold separately.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

Installation Notes

Install before finishing the wall, per the Passive Heat instructions. In NYC, gas appliance and vent work is done by a licensed master plumber under the NYC Fuel Gas Code.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it the same as the ducted kit?

No. PH-MCE is for non-ducted Passive Heat; ducted Passive Heat uses the PHFR-MCE kits.

Does it include the vent trim?

No. Order the PH-FRTTRIM for your size separately.

Warranty

Hearth and Home Technologies limited warranty (table 4021-645 in Majestic owner's manuals): purchased replacement parts and optional accessories are covered for 1 year, parts only. Purchase from an authorized HHT dealer is required.
