Description

The Marquis by Kingsman I43FK25 is the chimney flex pipe kit for the Kingsman Capri IDV44 direct vent gas insert. The Capri manual lists it with the IDVVT43 collinear 4 in. / 3 in. vertical termination: one 3 in. intake and one 4 in. exhaust aluminum flex pipe, each 25 ft. unexpanded, with screws, washers and Millpac sealant.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

Installation Notes

Follow the venting tables in the appliance manual for rise, run, elbows and terminations, and have a qualified installer make every joint. Label the exhaust and intake pipes so they are not crossed, attach them to the termination with Millpac and four screws per joint, and seal the plate to the chimney top. In New York City, gas fireplaces and inserts are installed under the NYC Fuel Gas Code by a licensed master plumber, with DOB filing where required.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it fit the IDV34?

No. The Capri manual lists IDVFK25 (two 3 in. pipes) with the IDVVT36 termination for the IDV34.

Is the termination included?

No. The IDVVT43 vertical termination is a separate part.

Warranty

Kingsman limited warranty, per the Kingsman and Marquis manuals: in the first year after installation, Kingsman replaces any component part found defective in materials or workmanship, with labor at its rate schedule through an authorized Kingsman dealer (accent light bulbs, gasketing and paint excluded). The lifetime term covers the fireplace heat exchanger, combustion chamber and burner, not accessories, and applies only at the original installation site in the United States or Canada.
