The Modern Flames OR52-MULTI wall mounted cabinet (WSS-OR52) is the studio suite for the 52 in. Orion Multi electric fireplace mounted on the wall. Top and bottom cabinets with side skirts frame the fireplace as a floating mantel, with no framing required.

Choose White ready-to-finish primer (RTF), Coastal Sand, Driftwood Gray or Weathered Walnut above. The installed suite measures 64.5 in. W x 30.5 in. H x 11.25 in. D.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

  • Included: top and bottom suite, left and right cabinet brackets, side skirts, power cord, hardware kit and guide, per the Modern Flames guide (drywall stops and the wall bracket ship with the fireplace)
  • Required: a Modern Flames Orion Multi 52 in. electric fireplace, sold separately
  • Alternative size: OR60-MULTI suite for the 60 in. model

Installation Notes

The guide has you remove the fireplace side skirts, covers and front glass, fit the drywall stops and cabinet brackets, mount the size-specific bracket to at least two studs, then hang the fireplace and slide on the suite. Keep the glass in a safe place while it is off. Electric fireplaces need no gas line or venting, which makes them one of the simplest fireplace options for New York City apartments and co-ops, subject to building and board approval for any electrical work. Book a design consultation to plan the fireplace wall, power and finish.

Does it need framing?

No. The suite mounts on the wall surface around a wall-mounted Orion Multi.

Can I paint it?

Yes. The White RTF version is a ready-to-paint primer finish.

Warranty

Modern Flames limited warranty (2022-2023 policy), which covers all Modern Flames brand products bought from authorized dealers: 5 years from the date of purchase when the owner registers the product at modernflames.com, otherwise the standard 2 years; integrated screens 1 year. The warranty is not transferable, consumable and normal wear parts are excluded, and Modern Flames must be contacted first to troubleshoot before service.
