The Napoleon Elevation 42 electric fireplace (NEFB42H-MF) gives you a deep, traditional firebox look with split oak logs and a 41-3/4 in. by 33-1/16 in. view. Napoleon built it to share the framing of the Elevation and Elevation X gas fireplaces, so you can frame the wall now and choose gas or electric later.
The flame effect layers front to back and side to side, with five speeds and brightness levels and 13 top light colors. The heater runs at 1,465 W on 120V or 2,930 W wired for 240V, and you can control it with the remote, the Napoleon Home app or voice assistants.

Installation Notes
Frame to 45-3/4 in. W x 39-9/16 in. H x 16-1/4 in. D; Napoleon designed it to share framing with the Elevation and Elevation X gas fireplaces. It is a build-in only appliance and must be hard-wired by a qualified electrician to a dedicated circuit rated for at least 15 A at 120V, or wired for 240V. Electric fireplaces need no gas line or venting, which makes them one of the simplest fireplace options for New York City apartments and co-ops, subject to building and board approval for the electrical work. Frequently Asked Questions
Can I switch to gas later?
Napoleon designed the Elevation electric to share framing with the Elevation and Elevation X gas fireplaces, so the framed opening can take either. A gas unit would still need a gas line and venting.
Does it plug in?
No. It is hard-wired to a dedicated circuit; 240V wiring raises the heater to 2,930 W.
Can it go in a bedroom or bathroom?
Yes. The Elevation electric is listed for bedroom, bathroom and bed-sitting room installation.
Is a wall control included?
No. The remote and app are standard; the wall-mount controller is the option above.

Napoleon Electric Appliance Premium Warranty: electrical components and wearable parts (fan and heater, motors, switches, nylon bearing components, remote controls and LED lights) are covered with free replacement parts for the first 2 years, and labour for warranty repair is covered in the first year. Light bulbs and fuses are not covered. Coverage is for the original purchaser, is not transferable, begins on the date of installation and requires purchase through an authorized Napoleon dealer.
