This package sets the Primo Oval XL 400 (PGCXLH), Primo's USA-made ceramic kamado, into Primo's curved cypress grill table (PG00600). The table gives you wood work surface around the grill and rolls on locking casters, so the kamado becomes a freestanding outdoor cooking station.

Primo rates the XL 400 at 400 sq. in. of cooking area, 680 sq. in. with the optional rack system, and 151 to 850 F. The patented oval firebox makes true two-zone cooking easy, with direct heat on one side and indirect on the other.

Installation Notes

Primo's XL 400 spec sheet calls for 12 in. behind the grill for the lid to open and at least 2 in. around the exterior. The grill head is heavy, so plan on two or more people to place it, and never lift it by the hinge or bands. Primo grills are for outdoor use only, away from overhanging branches or other flammable objects; on a wood table, always set the grill on its ceramic feet. In New York City, the NYC Fire Code restricts charcoal and other open-flame grills on balconies, terraces and rooftops, so confirm your building and FDNY rules before ordering. Warranty

Primo limited lifetime warranty to the original purchaser, per the Primo owner's manual: 20 years on ceramic parts, 5 years on metal parts (excluding cast iron), 1 year on cast iron parts, 1 year on cooking grates and 30 days on thermometers and felt gaskets. Primo repairs or replaces defective parts and ships them at the purchaser's expense. Damage from dropping, mishandling, lifting by the hinge or not following building and fire codes is not covered.
