Kingsman IPI remote controls for Kingsman and Marquis gas fireplaces, inserts and stoves with IPI electronic ignition valve systems. Choose fuel and function above. Kingsman lists these remotes in its fireplace and stove manuals; models with a Proflame 2 valve (NE2 / LPE2) ship with their own remote control.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

  • Required: a Kingsman or Marquis fireplace, insert or stove with an IPI electronic ignition valve
  • Other valve system: Kingsman millivolt remote controls

Installation Notes

Match the remote to the valve system and fuel on the rating plate: modulating and fan remotes are fuel specific. Fan control models run the fireplace fan where one is fitted. Wiring and receiver location follow the fireplace manual. In New York City, gas fireplaces and inserts are installed under the NYC Fuel Gas Code by a licensed master plumber, with DOB filing where required.

Is the On/Off option a basic remote?

The variant ships the EGTRC, which Kingsman lists as a thermostat remote; it turns the fire on and off and can hold a set temperature.

Does my Proflame 2 fireplace need one?

No. Kingsman Proflame 2 models (NE2 / LPE2) include a remote control, per the parts lists.

Warranty

Kingsman limited warranty, per the Kingsman and Marquis manuals: in the first year after installation, Kingsman replaces any component part found defective in materials or workmanship, with labor at its rate schedule through an authorized Kingsman dealer (accent light bulbs, gasketing and paint excluded). The lifetime term covers the fireplace heat exchanger, combustion chamber and burner, not accessories, and applies only at the original installation site in the United States or Canada.
