The SimpliFire 25 in. Electric Insert (SF-INS25) turns a drafty, unused wood-burning fireplace into an efficient electric fireplace that plugs into a standard 120V outlet. It also builds into any framed wall opening thanks to its self-trimming design.
A realistic log set, adjustable flames and accent lighting run with or without heat, so it works year round, and the multifunction remote handles flame, heat and lighting.

What Is Included and What You Will Need
- Included: SF-INS25 insert with standard front, log set and multifunction remote, per the SimpliFire manual

- Required: a 15 A, 120V grounded outlet within reach of the power cord, or a circuit installed by an electrician
Installation Notes
Measure the existing fireplace opening against the minimums above; if the opening is larger than the insert's front, choose a surround to cover the gap. The insert can also be recessed into a framed wall opening of 25-3/8 x 16-3/8 x 11-3/8 in. Keep combustibles at least 3 ft from the front. Electric fireplaces need no gas line, chimney or venting, which makes them a practical choice for New York City apartments and condos. Book a design consultation to plan the opening, surround and power.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will it fit my fireplace?
It needs an opening at least 25 in. wide at the front, 18 in. at the rear, 16-3/8 in. high and 11-3/8 in. deep. Use a surround if your opening is wider or taller than the insert front.
Does it need a chimney or gas?
No. It is electric and plugs into a 120V outlet; the existing fireplace simply becomes the opening it sits in.
Can I run it without heat?
Yes. Flames and lighting run with or without heat.
Can it go in a new wall?
Yes. It can be recessed into a framed opening of 25-3/8 x 16-3/8 x 11-3/8 in.

Coverage begins at the date of installation, requires purchase from an authorized HHT dealer, applies only while the product stays at its original installation site, and transfers to later owners without extending the period.
