The SimpliFire SF-BI30-EB is a 30 in. built-in electric fireplace with a masonry-style interior and textured log set, for a new framed wall or a traditional look without gas. It runs on a 120V plug-in or can be hardwired at 208 or 240V for roughly double the heater output.
The LED flame has four height settings and runs with or without heat. An optional black decorative front gives it a finished face when you do not want a separate surround.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

Installation Notes
Frame the opening to the manual for your voltage; the 240V setup needs a taller opening and 2 in. of top clearance. The unit can be fastened directly to the framing with its brackets. Keep furniture and drapes 36 in. from the front. Electric fireplaces need no gas line or venting, which makes them one of the simplest fireplace options for New York City apartments and co-ops, subject to building and board approval for any electrical work. Book a design consultation to plan the wall, power and finish.

Should I wire it for 240V?
At 240V the heater runs at 2,800 W instead of 1,400 W at 120V, so it heats a larger space; it must be hardwired and needs a 29-1/4 in. high opening.
What size opening does it need?
31-3/4 in. wide by 27-1/4 in. high and 11-5/8 in. deep at 120V.
Do I need the black front?
It is optional; it gives a finished face around the unit if you are not building a surround.

Warranty
Hearth and Home Technologies limited warranty, per the SimpliFire owner's manual: covers defects in materials and workmanship for the periods in the manual's warranty table, starting on the installation date (for new construction, six months after the final sale, but no later than 24 months after shipment). It requires purchase from an authorized dealer, applies while the product stays at its original site and transfers to later owners without extending the term. Travel and parts shipping are not covered.
