The Summerset 24 in. 5.3 cu. ft. Outdoor Rated Dual Zone Wine Cooler (SSRFR-24WD) gives an outdoor kitchen two separately controlled wine zones behind a glass door with a stainless steel frame and handle. It fits under a standard outdoor counter and vents from the front, so it can be built in or stand alone.
Summerset presets the upper zone to 46.4 F and the lower zone to 53.6 F, and each zone adjusts in 1 degree steps, down to 39 F upper and 54 F lower. Automatic defrost, a door-open alarm and a control lock are built in.

- Needed for a built-in: a non-blocked front grille area and an opening sized per the line drawing plus 1/4 in.

Installation Notes
Summerset designs this cooler for built-in or freestanding use. Keep the front grille clear, do not install it behind a cabinet door, and set it on a floor strong enough to carry it fully loaded, leveled with the adjustable legs. It needs a standard 110V grounded 3-prong outlet, a separate circuit is recommended, and Summerset strongly advises against extension cords. For best performance install it where the ambient temperature stays between 60 F and 90 F, out of direct sun. In New York City, adding an outdoor outlet on a terrace or rooftop is electrical work for a licensed electrician and often needs building or board approval. Summerset presets 46.4 F on top and 53.6 F below. The upper zone can be set as low as 39 F and the lower zone as low as 54 F.
Can it be built in under a counter?
Yes. It vents from the front, so it can be built in, as long as the front grille is never blocked and it is not placed behind a cabinet door.
Does it need a dedicated outlet?
It plugs into a standard 110V grounded outlet. Summerset recommends a separate circuit and advises against extension cords.
What does the warranty cover?
3 years on construction including the compressor and 1 year on lighting and electrical parts, with online registration within 30 days.

AMD Direct (Summerset) limited warranty for 15 in. and 24 in. refrigeration models, per the owner's manual: 3 years on all construction, including the compressor, and 1 year on the transformer, LED bulbs, LED harness, power source wire and switches. The warranty is for the original purchaser at the original site, requires online registration within 30 days of purchase with proof of purchase, covers replacement parts only (no labor), and does not apply to commercial or rental use or to discoloration, surface rust or corrosion.
