The Summerset RFR-24S-A is a 24 in. outdoor rated refrigerator with a solid #304 stainless steel door, built to keep drinks and ingredients cold in an outdoor kitchen. About 161 cans fit on three glass shelves under interior LED lighting, and the front-venting design lets it build into an island or stand on its own.
Choose the hinge side above: the RFR-24S-AR is Summerset's right-to-left opening door model. Digital controls with a temperature display, automatic defrost and door and temperature alarms keep it simple to run.

Installation Notes
This refrigerator can be built in or freestanding. Keep the front grille clear, set it on a level surface using the four adjustable legs, and plug it into its own grounded GFCI outlet on a 115V circuit without an extension cord. Do not install it beside a grill or other heat source, behind a cabinet door, or where the surrounding air drops below 50 F. Check the line drawing in the manual for exact dimensions before cutting the island. For New York area patios and rooftops, note that the manufacturer calls for installation where the surrounding air stays between 50 and 109 F; plan to shut the unit down and winterize it for the cold months. Book a design consultation to plan the island, power and appliance layout.

Pick the side that lets the door swing away from the grill and your main work area. Summerset lists the RFR-24S-AR as the right-to-left opening model.
Can it be built into an island?
Yes. It is front venting, so it needs no extra air space at the top, sides or rear when built in, as long as the front grille stays clear.

AMD Direct warranty for 15 in. and 24 in. refrigeration models, per the current Summerset owner's manual (purchases from 3/1/23): 3 years on all construction including the compressor, and 1 year on the transformer, LED bulbs, LED harness, power source wire and switches. The warranty covers replacement parts only, not labor, applies to the original purchaser at the original site, and requires online registration within 30 days of purchase.
