Description
The Superior DRT63ST-B (DRT63STTEN-B) is a see-through traditional direct vent gas fireplace, viewable from two rooms or, with the outdoor window kit, from an indoor room and an outdoor living space. It fires at 37,000 to 57,000 BTU on natural gas with an oak log set, platinum glowing embers and volcanic stone included.
A SIT ProFlame remote with receiver comes in the box. One firebox panel kit is required to complete the fireplace: choose ceramic Buff Rustic, Buff Herringbone, Architectural Stone, Venetian Tile, Black Rustic or black porcelain.

Installation Notes
Install by a qualified gas fitter to the current Superior installation manual. Framing, the 2 ft vertical rise and elbow, the outdoor-side moisture clearance and the mantel chart all depend on the vent route, so plan them before framing.
In New York City gas fireplace work requires a licensed master plumber and permit. Book a fireplace design consultation to plan the two-sided opening and venting.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is a panel kit included?
No. One ceramic or porcelain panel kit is required and is ordered separately.
Can one side face outdoors?
Yes, with the outdoor window kit. The control side must be on the indoor side.
Is the remote included?
Yes, the SIT ProFlame remote and receiver are packed in the firebox.

Warranty
Innovative Hearth Products 20 Year Limited Warranty (installation manual): the fireplace body, firebox, barrier and ceramic glass are covered for 20 years from the date of installation. The burner, gas components and gaskets are covered for one year, optional blowers and remote controls for one year, tempered glass for one year and optional glass doors for 90 days; parts not otherwise listed carry a 90 day warranty. Labor is paid at prevailing IHP rates for each component's warranty period. Vent components, trim and paint are excluded. Refer to the manual for full terms.
