Installation Notes
This is a sealed direct vent fireplace, so combustion air comes from outside and exhaust leaves the home. Framing, vent run, gas connection and clearances to combustibles must follow the installation manual: 1-1/2" to the back wrapper, 1/2" to the side wrappers, 0" to the top standoffs and floor, 3" above and 1" at the sides and bottom of vent pipe, and 3 feet of open space in front for service. A licensed installer should do the work. For NYC and Long Island projects, book a design consultation so we can plan the vent route and permits.
