Trade-Wind P7200 and L7200 spec sheets list four 12 x 14 in. stainless steel commercial baffle filters (six or eight on larger models). Baffle filters trap grease before it reaches the blower, and the slots run front to back when installed.

  • Commercial stainless steel baffle design
  • 12 x 14 in. size
  • Dishwasher safe (P7200 / L7200 spec sheets)
  • Replacement or spare filter

Installation Notes

Clean the filters often in the dishwasher or hot soapy water and refit them with the long slots running front to back, per Trade-Wind. In New York City, a hood or in-line blower on a terrace, rooftop or in an apartment usually means new duct penetrations and electrical work, so building approval and a licensed electrician are part of the plan.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many does my hood use?

Count the filter positions on your hood; Trade-Wind models use several, more on wider units.

Can I run the hood without filters?

No. Trade-Wind says not to run the blower without filters in place.
