Installation Notes

Cut and frame the opening to 30 3/8 x 19 1/4 in. and confirm it against the current TrueFlame cutout sheet before the countertop goes on. Masonry return doors are meant to be set against block, brick or stone; the return covers the rough edge of the opening. In New York City, gas work in an outdoor kitchen must be done by a licensed plumber and may need DOB filings.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size opening do I cut?

30 3/8 in. wide by 19 1/4 in. high, per TrueFlame. Add about 1/4 in. so the frame slips in without binding.

Can I store a propane tank behind this door?

Use the vented door or a vented propane tank drawer for propane storage. A solid door does not ventilate the cabinet.
