The TrueFlame TF-DD-33V is a 33 in. stainless steel vented double access door for outdoor kitchen islands, giving full-width access to the space under a grill or countertop. Built-in louvers ventilate the enclosure, which makes it the right door for a propane tank cabinet. The flush mount return suits stucco, wood or metal finished islands. The opening is 30 1/4 in. wide by 19 3/8 in. high, per TrueFlame's published cutout sheet.

Installation Notes

Cut and frame the opening to 30 1/4 x 19 3/8 in. and confirm it against the current TrueFlame cutout sheet before the countertop goes on. The flush return overlaps the island face, so the finish material should be complete before the door is installed. A propane cylinder kept inside an island must be in a ventilated enclosure, and the vented door is one part of that; follow the venting rules in your grill installation manual. In New York City, gas work in an outdoor kitchen must be done by a licensed plumber and may need DOB filings.

What size opening do I cut?

30 1/4 in. wide by 19 3/8 in. high, per TrueFlame. Add about 1/4 in. so the frame slips in without binding.

Can I store a propane tank behind this door?

Yes. The louvers are there for propane storage; keep the cylinder upright and the island vented per your grill manual.
