The Twin Eagles TEIJ30 insulating jacket lets a Twin Eagles 30 in. built-in grill go into an island framed with combustible materials. It wraps the sides, rear and bottom of the grill body in a welded stainless steel enclosure that keeps heat away from wood or metal stud framing.
The jacket drops into the island cutout and the grill drops into the jacket, with polished stainless trim to match the grill. Use it whenever the island is not built entirely of non-combustible materials.

Installation Notes
Cut the island to 33-1/2 in. wide, 26 in. deep and 12-5/8 in. high for the jacket, and follow the countertop notch and hood clearance notes on the Twin Eagles cutout sheet so the hood opens fully. The grill gas line still needs a licensed installer; in New York City, gas grills on terraces and rooftops are regulated by the FDNY and the Department of Buildings, so we review the space before quoting. Book a design consultation to plan the island, gas line and clearances.

Twin Eagles limited warranty: fabricated stainless steel components are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use for two years from the original date of purchase, with a 90 day warranty for multi-user settings such as bed and breakfast inns and private clubs.
