The Warming Trends AON R48 is a 48 x 30 inch rectangular powder-coated steel gas fire pit table in charcoal, built around a 170,000 BTU CROSSFIRE brass burner. Choose natural gas or propane, then pick a push button, Mercury or Platinum ignition and the media that covers the burner. A flush-mount cover leaves a clean table top when the fire is off, and the 10-inch ledge gives you room for drinks and plates.

What Is Included and What You Will Need
- Included: AON R48 fire table, CROSSFIRE brass burner with WATERSTOP, ventilated pan, control box, your selected ignition and flush-mount cover
- You will need: burner media to cover the jets. The media variants offer lava rock, tumbled lava stone or fire glass, or you can buy Warming Trends black lava rock (BLR) separately
- You will need: a gas stub-out and flex line kit for natural gas (propane builds use the supplied regulator hose); Platinum ignition also needs an outdoor NEMA-rated GFCI outlet and an external power switch
Installation Notes
Installation and service must be performed by a qualified installer. Inlet gas pressure ranges by ignition: push button natural gas 3.5 to 7.0 inches W.C., Mercury natural gas 3.5 to 10.0, Platinum natural gas 3.5 to 14.0, and propane 11.0 to 13.0 for push button and Mercury. Keep 36" of side clearance and at least 72" of overhead clearance to combustible structures or materials, place the table on a stable, level, non-combustible surface, and keep at least 1" of clearance under the adjustable feet. Do not cover the jets with more than 1/2" of media. Outdoor use only. Check local code and permit requirements, and plan your layout in a design consultation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which ignition should I choose?
Push button is the simplest, Mercury is a standing pilot with an AA-battery ignition button, and Platinum is a 24 V hot surface system with a factory-installed transformer. Mercury and Platinum are offered on natural gas builds.
Do I need to add media?
Yes. The jets must be covered with lava rock, stone or fire glass, kept to no more than 1/2" over the jets.
Is it ready to use on a wood deck?
The manual says never to use the table on a combustible surface and to keep 1" of clearance under the feet, so place it on a stable, level, non-combustible surface.
Can I use it under a covered patio?
The manual requires at least 72" of clearance above the appliance to combustible structures, and it must never be used under a sealed overhead structure or in an enclosed space.

Warranty
Warming Trends warrants the fabrication and structure of each AON for 3 years from the purchase date for residential use, and the powder coating for 12 months from delivery. The CROSSFIRE burner carries a lifetime full warranty. Ignition systems are warranted for 3 years (Mercury and Platinum) or 1 year (pre-installed push button).
