Size: 62 in. round cover for a 60 in. opening; two pieces, 3/16 in. aluminum; 2 handles per piece; about 61 lbs. (per listing)

The Warming Trends FPC62C is a 62 in. round aluminum cover made for a fire pit with a 60 in. opening. At this size it comes in two pieces, each with two handles, so it can be lifted on and off by hand; the 3/16 in. aluminum keeps rain, leaves and debris off the burner, plate, ignition and media.

Warming Trends instructs owners to keep the fire feature covered when not in use, and to let it cool completely before covering. The cover always comes off before the burner is lit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I leave the cover on while the fire is burning?

No. Warming Trends requires the cover to be removed before lighting and to stay off during operation.

Why cover the burner?

It keeps water and debris out of the burner and ignition. Warming Trends instructs owners to keep the fire feature covered when not in use.

Why is it two pieces?

At 62 in. a one-piece aluminum lid is heavy and awkward; the two halves, each with two handles, are easier to lift on and off.

Warranty

Warming Trends' published full lifetime warranty applies to its jetted brass burners; its warranty document states other products may carry separate terms, and the current listing states the cover is included in the Warming Trends warranty. Ask us for the current terms on the cover before ordering.
