The Warming Trends UPKBW is a gas insert kit made for Belgard Weston paver fire pits. It pairs a CROSSFIRE CFB240 brass burner, rated 240,000 BTU and fitted with Warming Trends' WATERSTOP fitting, with a 39 in. circular aluminum plate, flex line kit and key valve kit.
The kit is built to drop into the block wall without drilling: six flexible collars fit between blocks, and the key valve mounting bracket and two 11-3/8 x 4 in. vents are sized to replace a block and support the course above. The block fire pit itself is not included.

What Is Included and What You Will Need
- Included: CFB240 burner with WATERSTOP, 39 in. circular aluminum plate, flex line kit, key valve kit, 6 flexible no-drill collars, 2 vents (11-3/8 x 4 in.) and key valve mounting bracket
- Not included: the Belgard Weston block fire pit and any stone; fire-rated media such as black lava rock (BLR) is required
- Required: a gas line with an exterior shutoff, run by a licensed installer
Installation Notes
Build the Weston fire pit to Belgard's instructions, set the collars between blocks and the vents and valve bracket in place of blocks, on opposing sides as Warming Trends requires (18 sq in. minimum each). Never fill the cavity, keep the burner serviceable from above, and keep 36 in. horizontally and 84 in. overhead from combustibles, per the Warming Trends Version 6 manual. Media goes on the plate, no more than 1/2 in. above the jets. For New York City addresses, outdoor gas fire features and their gas piping fall under the NYC Fuel Gas Code and Department of Buildings permitting, and propane at residences is restricted by the NYC Fire Code, so the approval path for a built-in fire pit must be confirmed before you buy. Frequently Asked Questions
Does it include the fire pit blocks?
No. It is the gas insert kit; the Belgard Weston blocks are bought separately.
What does the WATERSTOP do?
It is a Warming Trends fitting that keeps water and debris away from the valve and gas line while letting the burner purge water when lit.
Do I need to drill the blocks?
No. The flexible collars fit between blocks, and the valve bracket and vents replace a block.
Can I install this in New York City?
Possibly, but outdoor gas fire features and their gas piping need NYC Fuel Gas Code and Department of Buildings approval, and propane at residences is restricted by the NYC Fire Code. Talk to us before you order.

Warming Trends Full Lifetime Warranty on CROSSFIRE and other jetted brass burners, from the date of purchase and transferable with proof of ownership; Warming Trends repairs or exchanges a defective burner free during the warranty period. Misuse, installation defects, modification and indoor use are excluded, installation services are not covered, and electronics carry separate warranties. Burners and electronics must be covered when not in use or the warranty is void.
