Four cast stainless steel H-burners and a 10,000 BTU infrared rotisserie burner deliver 74,000 BTU across 982 square inches of laser-cut stainless grates. It comes in traditional 304 stainless or black stainless, and the same grill head can later be built into an island using Wildfire's published cutout.

Installation Notes

As a freestanding unit the Ranch Pro 42 needs no cutout, but it still requires a 120V GFCI outlet, a gas supply that matches the version ordered, and the clearances to combustibles listed in the Wildfire operational manual. Gas connections should be made by a qualified installer. In New York City, propane cylinder use on terraces and rooftops is heavily restricted by the FDNY and natural gas piping requires a licensed master plumber, so we review the space before quoting. Frequently Asked Questions

Can I build this grill into an island later?

Yes. The Ranch Pro 42 grill head is the same unit Wildfire sells for built-in use; it drops into a 41 x 21 x 10 inch cutout, so you can move it off the cart if you build an outdoor kitchen.

Is the rotisserie included?

The infrared rotisserie burner is built into the grill head. The spit and motor come in the separate Wildfire 42-Inch Rotisserie Kit.

What is the difference between the stainless and black finishes?

Both are 304 stainless steel. The black stainless version pairs dark panels with stainless, as shown in the gallery; performance and specifications are the same.

Natural gas or propane?

Choose the fuel when ordering. Natural gas is usually the practical choice in New York City, where propane cylinder use on terraces is heavily restricted.

Warranty

Per Wildfire's Ranch Pro 42 spec sheet: limited lifetime warranty on the stainless steel housing and frame, cooking grids, warming rack, flavor grids, and cast stainless and infrared burners; limited five years on valves, manifold and ignition systems; limited two years on electric and plastic components; and limited one year on all other parts and components, including shipping and handling. Wildfire's 2026 warranty terms add a one-year labor credit for pre-approved repairs submitted through the selling dealer, require product registration before a claim, cover the original purchaser with proof of purchase, and are void for rental or commercial use.
