The XO XOUIM1565SP is a 15 in. undercounter gourmet ice maker rated for indoor or outdoor use. It makes up to 65 lb of crystal clear, rectangular bell-shaped cubes a day, designed to melt slowly, and holds up to 27 lb on hand, pausing production automatically when the bin is full.
Front venting and a zero-clearance, field-reversible door let it sit flush in an outdoor kitchen or bar. A factory-installed drain pump discharges to a drain up to 8 ft above the unit, and 9 ft of 3/8 in. ID drain hose is included.

What Is Included and What You Will Need
- Included: XOUIM1565SP ice maker, two handle styles and ice scoop, plus 9 ft of 3/8 in. ID drain hose
- Required: a cold water line, a dedicated 15 A, 115V grounded outlet and a drain within 8 ft of lift
Installation Notes
Plan the water line, drain and outlet before the cabinetry is built, and use a dedicated 15 A circuit without an extension cord. The pump model can lift drain water up to 8 ft; check local code for an air gap. XO rates it for 50 to 90 F use and says to keep it out of direct sun, rain and splashing; winterize it when nights approach 40 F, since freezing can damage the unit. In New York City, adding an outdoor outlet, water line or drain on a terrace or rooftop is work for licensed trades and often needs building or board approval. Book a design consultation and we will plan the water, drain and power.

XO also offers a 90 day Love It or Leave It guarantee. Coverage is for the original purchaser at the original installation location and excludes commercial use and damage from improper installation, freezing or water, drain or power problems.
