The Dometic Delta Heat DHSB1D is a drop-in single side burner for an outdoor kitchen: one sealed burner under a stainless steel top cover, set into the countertop next to the grill for sauces, sides or a pot of corn. Delta Heat builds it in 304 stainless steel in the USA, with battery spark ignition so it needs no electrical connection.

Cut a 10-5/8 x 16-1/4 in opening and keep 12 in of clearance all around, per the Delta Heat catalog. Gas connections must be made by a qualified technician to local code or ANSI Z223.1/NFPA 54, leak tested before use, and the burner is for outdoor use only. Order the version that matches your gas; the rating plate must match the supply.

In New York City, gas piping to an outdoor kitchen needs a licensed master plumber, and rooftop or terrace kitchens usually need building approval.

Warranty

Delta Heat warrants its outdoor side burners and all component parts against defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use for one year from the original date of purchase, with a ninety (90) day warranty for residential plus settings such as bed and breakfast inns, private clubs and multi-dwelling condos; commercial use is excluded. The part is repaired or replaced free, with the owner paying labor, installation and shipping. Registration and proof of purchase are required (Delta Heat side burner manual).
