The Fire Magic Aurora A790i is the 36-inch grill in Fire Magic's Aurora line: 3 cast 304 stainless E-burners (90,000 BTU), Diamond Sear grids and a contoured control panel with back-lit knobs, built for owners who cook outside several nights a week.

It drops into a non-combustible island cutout of 37 W x 23-1/2 D x 11-1/2 H in. Models covered: A790I-7EAN, A790I-7EAP.

Installation Notes

Frame the island to the cutout above using non-combustible materials, or add the Fire Magic insulating liner where framing is combustible. Provide enclosure ventilation, an accessible gas shutoff and a GFCI outlet as the manual specifies. In NYC the gas line is run by a licensed plumber under permit.

Do I need the insulating liner?

Only if the island frame is combustible, such as wood framing. Masonry or steel-stud islands with cement board do not need it.

Where is it made?

Fire Magic grills are built in the USA by RH Peterson in California.

Fire Magic residential warranty for the original owner: lifetime on the cast stainless steel burners, stainless steel cooking grids and stainless steel housing; 15 years on brass valves, inner liners, manifold assemblies and backburner assemblies (excluding ignition and electronic parts); 5 years on flavor grids and infrared burners; 3 years on side burners and other components; 1 year on ignition systems (except batteries), electronic components including lights and thermometers, and accessories. Register the grill with Fire Magic and keep proof of purchase.
