Description

The Majestic CUST-SRND-MI is the custom surround for Majestic metal gas inserts, listed with the MI25, MI30 and MI35 surrounds in Majestic's insert surround and front instructions (2532-921). Majestic's metal inserts brochure shows the Ruby 25 with a trimmable custom surround in black, for openings that the fixed small, medium and large surrounds do not suit.

Installation Notes

Have a qualified technician install it per the kit instructions and fireplace manual. Combustible materials must not overlap or sit under a surround. In New York City, gas fireplaces and inserts are installed under the NYC Fuel Gas Code by a licensed master plumber, with DOB filing where required.

How is it different from the On-Site Custom Surround?

The On-Site surrounds (MI25/30/35-5040CS-BK) are 50 x 40 in. kits with their own instructions; CUST-SRND-MI is a separate custom surround part. Ask us which one your opening needs.

Is a surround required?

Yes. Majestic's 2532-921 instructions state that the surround is required.

Warranty

Hearth and Home Technologies limited warranty table 4021-645 (Majestic owner's manuals): purchased replacement parts and optional accessories are covered for 1 year, parts only. Coverage begins at installation and requires purchase from an authorized HHT dealer.
