Wildfire Ranch Pro insulated jackets let a Wildfire built-in grill, griddle, side griddle, double side burner or power burner go into an island framed with combustible materials. Wildfire's specifications put the side, bottom and back of its gas appliances no closer than 24 in. to combustibles, so a wood or composite island needs the matching jacket; each appliance has its own size, listed below.

Installation Notes

Cut the island to the jacket cutout for your appliance, set the jacket, then drop the appliance in. Wildfire recommends confirming every cutout against the unit you bought, since sizes can vary by up to 1/8 in. Gas connections need a licensed installer; in New York City, gas work is done by a licensed master plumber under the NYC Fuel Gas Code.

Do I need a jacket?

Yes, if the island framing is wood, composite or any other combustible material; Wildfire specifies 24 in. to combustibles at the side, bottom and back of its gas appliances.

Which size do I order?

What cutout does the 36 in. grill jacket need?

35-1/4 in. wide, 21-1/2 in. deep and 10-1/2 in. high, per the Wildfire specifications.

Warranty

Wildfire Outdoor Living limited warranty, per the 2026 Wildfire warranty document: it is written for grills, side burners and griddles, with a limited lifetime on the stainless steel housing and frame and one year on all parts and components plus a one-year labor credit for pre-approved repairs, for the original purchaser with proof of purchase and product registration; rental and commercial use void it. Wildfire does not list a separate term for island doors, drawers or jackets, so we confirm coverage for this accessory on the order.
