Quartz IFT traditional direct vent models. All three are supplied with logs; 32-inch and 36-inch models support an optional contemporary media conversion kit, while the 42-inch model remains a log configuration. Heat output, glass size, framing and vent installation requirements differ. Select the same factory natural-gas or propane fuel model on the destination page; these models are not field convertible.

The Majestic Quartz 42 is a traditional direct vent gas fireplace with a shallow 16-5/16 in. depth and a large 39-1/16 in. by 23-9/16 in. glass view. It is a practical choice when you want a full-size log fire but cannot give up much floor or wall depth.
Majestic rates it at 20,000 to 28,500 BTU/h on natural gas, with eight ceramic fiber logs, glowing embers and top or rear venting. The interior can change from traditional brick to reflective black glass, so the look can evolve with the room.

Installation Notes
The Quartz 42 frames 49 in. wide by 39-7/8 in. high and vents from the top or rear. Majestic notes the contemporary glass firebed is offered for the 32 and 36 sizes only, so the 42 stays with logs or a black glass interior. Use a qualified, licensed gas installer and the current Majestic installation manual for framing, mantel clearances and vent runs. In New York City, direct vent gas fireplaces are installed under the NYC Fuel Gas Code by a licensed plumber with DOB filing where required, and the vent termination location usually decides feasibility. Can I get a modern glass firebed on the 42?
Majestic lists the contemporary glass firebed for the Quartz 32 and 36 only. On the 42 you can switch to reflective black glass interior panels.
Natural gas or propane?
Choose QUARTZ42IFTN for natural gas or QUARTZ42IFTL for propane from the options above.
Is the remote included?
Majestic lists remotes and wall controls as accessories. Ask us and we will match the right IntelliFire control to your order.

Warranty
Hearth & Home Technologies Limited Lifetime Warranty, per the Majestic owner's manual: the firebox and heat exchanger are covered for the lifetime term (HHT defines lifetime as 20 years for gas appliances) with 3 years labor; burners, logs and refractory components 10 years with 1 year labor; electrical components such as modules, remotes, wall switches, valves, pilots, blowers and lights 2 years; all other parts 1 year. Coverage begins at installation, is transferable while the fireplace stays at its original site, and requires purchase through an authorized HHT dealer.
