Description
The Superior FBK-LIN48 is the blower kit for the 48 in Superior DRL4048 and DRL6048 linear direct-vent fireplaces. It mounts beneath the rear of the firebox and a thermal switch turns it on once the fireplace reaches operating temperature, pushing warm air into the room.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

- You will need: a Superior DRL4048 or DRL6048 in a single-sided installation, with 120 VAC run to the fireplace junction box
Compatible Fireplaces and Matching Accessories
Installation Notes
Install the blower beneath the rear of the firebox per the DRL4048 / DRL6048 manual, with gas and power off. The fireplace needs a 3-wire, 120 VAC, 60 Hz unswitched supply to its junction box. The blower must be removed or disabled if a see-thru kit is installed, and blowers do not run while the fireplace is on battery backup.
In New York City, a direct-vent gas fireplace needs a licensed master plumber and a permit.
