Description

The Superior HTFLO-VF55 HeatFlo kit redirects convective heat from the front of a Superior vent-free linear fireplace, just above the glass, to a vent opening higher on the wall. Superior lists it for the 55 in VRL3055 and, in the VRL6048 manual, for the 48 in VRL6048, and it cannot be combined with a blower.

Features

  • HeatFlo Kit For 55 in Units (Superior Cat. No. F4761)
  • Listed for the VRL3055 and for the VRL6048 ("For 48 in and 55 in Units")
  • A blower cannot be used when the HeatFlo kit is installed
  • Needs the separate angled hood shown in the VRL3000 manual

Installation Notes

Plan the kit before framing: the VRL3000 manual has separate framing and TV dimensions for flush-wall and recessed-pocket HeatFlo installations, a separate angled hood must be used, and installing a blower is not allowed when the HeatFlo kit is used.

Vent-free gas appliances cannot be installed in New York City under the NYC Fuel Gas Code. We sell this kit for installations outside the five boroughs where local code allows vent-free fireplaces.
