Description

Lead Time: Ships in 2 business days.

The Outdoor GreatRoom linear glass wind guard is a tempered glass surround that sits around a 12 in wide linear Crystal Fire burner, from 42 in to 120 in long. It keeps a breeze from pushing the flame around, adds a barrier between the fire and children, pets and debris, and the glass reflects the flame for a cleaner, more finished look on a linear fire pit table.

Features

  • Tempered glass panels joined at the corners with aluminum brackets
  • Seven lengths for 12 in wide linear Crystal Fire burners: 42, 64, 72, 84, 96, 108 and 120 in
  • Shields the flame from wind and adds a barrier from hands, pets and debris
  • Reflects the flame for a finished look
  • Sits on the table top around the burner opening

Installation Notes

Assemble the guard on a soft surface with two people, then lift it onto the table and center it around the burner. Let the glass cool for at least 10 minutes after the fire is off before touching or removing it, never leave the fire unattended, and keep children away from hot glass, per The Outdoor GreatRoom glass guard instructions.

In New York City, permanent gas fire features and propane cylinders on terraces and rooftops are tightly regulated by the FDNY and building rules, so confirm what your building allows before you order.

The Outdoor GreatRoom glass guard assembly instructions ship with the guard; the version we could find covers the square, round and 12 x 24 and 12 x 42 models only, so it is not linked here.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which size do I need?

Match the guard to your burner length: a 12 x 64 in burner takes the 64 in guard (GG-1264), and so on.

Does it change the flame?

It blocks wind so the flame stays steadier; it does not change the burner output.

How long does the glass stay hot?

Allow at least 10 minutes after use before touching it, per The Outdoor GreatRoom.
