The Amantii Tru-View XL Deep 40 (40-TRU-VIEW-XL) is the deeper version of Amantii's three-sided electric fireplace. Its 14-1/4 inch deep body gives the media bed more room than the Tru-View Slim, so logs or glass read with real depth from the front and both ends. Removable side panels let it serve as a front-facing unit, a corner or a peninsula, and Amantii allows it in bathrooms and covered outdoor areas.

Installation Notes

The Tru-View XL is a built-in electric appliance with no gas line, vent or chimney, which makes a see-through or peninsula fireplace possible in New York City apartments where a gas see-through unit would need venting. Finishing materials can be built right to the glass edge. Outdoors it must be protected from direct water with Amantii's overhang rule; in a bathroom it needs GFCI protection. How is the XL Deep different from the Tru-View Slim?

The XL is 14-1/4 in deep versus 10-5/8 in for the Slim 40, giving the media bed more depth. It needs a 14-3/4 in deep opening.

Can it be a corner or peninsula fireplace?

Yes. Remove one side panel for a corner, or both for three-sided viewing.

Does it plug in?

Yes, into a grounded 120V outlet. Hardwiring is optional.

Does it come with media?

Amantii's manual says it ships with no media, while the current listing includes glass media. We confirm what is in the box when you order.
