New to the American Fyre Designs collection for 2026, the Meadow Round (series 450) is a soft, organic 48-inch round of glass fiber reinforced concrete (GFRC) with a 16-inch stainless steel star burner at its center. At 17 inches tall it sits at lounge-chair height, so it works as the centerpiece of a full circle of seating rather than against a wall. The FyreStarter version is one of the most powerful round firetables in the AFD line, with a true high and low flame setting.

What Is Included and What You Will Need
- Included: firetable in your selected finish, 16" star burner and valve system, lava granules for the required base layer
- Natural gas: a dedicated gas line with shutoff valve, 5" to 10.5" w.c. inlet pressure, sized for the full burner rating and run by a licensed plumber
- Propane: one 20 lb DOT cylinder (not included), a ventilated enclosure such as the AFD Contempo Tank/End Table, and the AFD 5110-26 10 ft LP extension hose (ask us; it is not stocked as a separate listing)
- FyreStarter models: a 120VAC, 15 amp minimum, GFCI-protected weatherproof in-use receptacle
- Decorative media (30 lbs of glass or gems, or 15 lbs of lava, over the base granules): Fyre Glass, Reflective Fyre Glass, Fyre Gems or Diamond Nuggets
- Optional: round 26" tempered glass wind guard (8208-WG)
Installation Notes
This is an outdoor-only decorative gas appliance. Place it on a hard, level surface with 3 ft of side clearance to any construction and at least 6 ft between the top of the table and any overhead structure. Because the FyreStarter version draws up to 100,000 BTU, the gas line must be sized for that load at the minimum inlet pressure; in New York City the piping must be installed and leak-tested by a licensed master plumber under permit, and rooftop or terrace locations may need building approval. Propane installations need a separate ventilated cylinder enclosure with at least 6 inches of side clearance. Frequently Asked Questions
How much heat does the Meadow Round put out?
Per the American Fyre Designs manual, the Manual Flame Sensing version is rated 65,000 BTU and the FyreStarter version 100,000 BTU on high and 54,000 BTU on low, on natural gas or propane.
Can I hide a propane tank inside it?
No. The Meadow Round does not house a cylinder. Use a 20 lb tank in a separate ventilated enclosure, such as an AFD tank/end table, connected with the 10 ft extension hose.
How much fire glass does it take?
American Fyre Designs recommends 30 lbs of glass or gems, or 15 lbs of lava, on top of the included lava granule base layer.
Is there a cover for the Meadow?
The current American Fyre Designs cover charts we carry do not list a GFRC or vinyl cover for series 450. Ask us to confirm the right protection for your finish before winter.

Warranty
American Fyre Designs by R.H. Peterson Co. warrants the GFRC fire feature and burner for three years and all electrical components, valves, accessories and controls for one year (batteries, wind guards and screens excluded) from the date of purchase. Coverage is for the original purchaser with proof of purchase, excludes labor, and does not cover damage from burning wood or any fuel other than natural gas or propane, or damage or discoloration from use in high wind.
