The American Outdoor Grill 24 inch L-Series (AOG24LP) is the most compact grill in AOG's built-in line, sized for terraces, small islands and second cooking stations. It gives you 432 square inches of primary cooking surface on two 304 stainless tubular burners, plus an infrared backburner and rotisserie kit that most 24 inch grills leave out. The L-Series adds interior halogen lights and an external multi-color LED light bar with remote, so it cooks as well after dark as at noon.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

• Included: grill head (propane), infrared backburner, rotisserie kit, LED light bar with remote, warming rack, gas conversion kit
• Required: a non-combustible countertop and an enclosure built to the cutout above, with ventilation openings per the AOG manual (four openings when a propane cylinder sits inside the enclosure)
• Required: a weatherproof, in-use covered 120V GFCI receptacle within reach
• Required: a propane cylinder and regulator, or a remote propane supply installed by a licensed gas professional
• For a combustible enclosure: AOG 24-IL-C insulating liner (sold separately)

Installation Notes

AOG's manual calls for 18 in to combustible side walls, 24 in in a corner, and 15 in to a combustible rear wall (4 in to a non-combustible wall). Keep at least 5 ft from the countertop to non-combustible overhead construction, and do not use the grill under combustible overhead construction unless a UL 710 heavy duty vent hood of at least 1,000 CFM is installed and running. Propane inlet pressure is 11 in w.c. normal, 10 in minimum and 13 in maximum. Propane cylinders are restricted on many New York City terraces and rooftops, so check building and FDNY rules before choosing propane in the city. Frequently Asked Questions

What cutout does the AOG24LP need?

24-1/2 in wide, 19-1/2 in deep and 8-1/2 in high, with a 28-1/2 in overhang cutout if the countertop extends past the front wall.

Can the propane tank go inside the island?

Yes, if the enclosure meets AOG's L.P. cylinder requirements, including four vent openings totaling at least 30 sq in.

Does it need electricity?

Yes. All L-Series grills require 120V AC for the lights and rotisserie, on a weatherproof GFCI receptacle.

Can I switch to natural gas later?

AOG includes a gas conversion kit with its grills. Conversion should be done by a qualified gas technician.
