The American Outdoor Grill 36-Inch L-Series Built-In Propane Grill (AOG36LP) is the largest L-Series grill from the Robert H. Peterson Co.: 648 square inches of Diamond Sear grids over 304 stainless tubular burners, an infrared backburner with the rotisserie kit included, and a lighting system built for cooking after dark. It is the centerpiece size for a propane outdoor kitchen that wants rotisserie and night lighting without stepping up to a luxury-tier price. A gas conversion kit ships in the box.

What Is Included and What You Will Need
- Included: 36" L-Series grill head (propane), infrared backburner, rotisserie kit, LED light bar with remote, warming rack and gas conversion kit
- Required: a regulated propane supply sized for 62,000 BTU total, a non-combustible countertop and enclosure (or the AOG 36-IL-C insulating liner for combustible framing), proper enclosure venting, and a 120V GFCI receptacle within reach
- Optional: the AOG stainless steel griddle (GR18A) and the AOG 36 in 1000 CFM vent hood (VHD-36) for covered installs
- Also available: AOG36LN natural gas model
Installation Notes
AOG requires the enclosure to sit on a hard, level surface, be properly vented, and have a non-combustible countertop; the grill hangs from its stainless hanger on the cutout edges. If the countertop overhangs the front wall, it must be cut flush for the width of the control panel. Leave a 1-1/2 in hole for the gas supply and one for the electrical supply. Propane cylinders are tightly restricted on New York City terraces and rooftops, so most NYC installs use natural gas; confirm with your building before choosing propane. Book a design consultation to have us plan the island, gas and electrical around this grill.

Is the rotisserie included?
Yes. The L-Series includes the infrared backburner and a rotisserie kit with spit rod, forks and motor.
Can I convert it to natural gas later?
AOG ships every grill with a gas conversion kit; conversion should be done by a qualified gas installer.
Does it need electricity?
Yes. All L-Series grills require 120V AC for the lights and rotisserie, on a 15 A minimum GFCI receptacle.
L-Series or T-Series?
The L-Series adds the infrared backburner, rotisserie kit, LED light bar and halogen interior lights; the T-Series uses the same cutout without them.
