- We allow returns on all new, unused, unassembled, and "resalable" items in their original packaging within 30 days of the delivery date for a refund (minus the original shipping costs, and the shipping costs you incur shipping the product back). Naturally, if your return is because of our error, you are not responsible for any shipping costs.

The Aquafire Direct Plumb Kit connects an Aquafire Original (AWA Series) water vapor fireplace to a 1/4 in water line, so the unit fills itself instead of being topped up by hand. Choose the first kit with the Vapor Pure softener, or an additional kit without it for each further insert.

What Is Included and What You Will Need
- Direct Plumb Kit and (4) M4 x 6 mm screws
- Vapor Pure water softener with the first kit option
- You will need: a 1/4 in OD supply line with a shutoff and a plumber to make the connection

Installation Notes
Mount the kit under the insert with a Phillips screwdriver, connect the 1/4 in pipe and plug in the power connector. Aquafire recommends water between 3.5 and 8.5 grains per gallon and advises against reverse osmosis water.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need one kit per fireplace?
Yes. Aquafire states each Aquafire Original needs its own Direct Plumb Kit.
Does it work with the Aquafire Pro?
No. Aquafire lists the Pro, Lite and Gatsby as not compatible.

Warranty
Aquafire covers its products for two years from purchase in residential use and one year in commercial use, against defects in materials and workmanship. Registration within 30 days and a running Vapor Pure softener are required. Improper installation of the Direct Plumb Kit, scaling and poor water quality are not covered.
