Broil King gas grills are for outdoor use only. Keep at least 30 in (76 cm) from combustible surfaces at the sides and rear, never operate the grill under an overhead roof or unprotected combustible overhang, and keep the gas hose and power cord away from hot surfaces. Build the island from non-combustible materials to the cutout, with venting and service access as described in the owner's manual.
In New York City, a fixed natural gas line to a grill requires a licensed master plumber and a DOB permit, and FDNY restricts propane cylinder storage and use on balconies, terraces and rooftops, so confirm your building rules before choosing a fuel.
