Description
The Bromic BH8180095 is the white ceiling recess kit for the 3000W and 6000W Tungsten Smart-Heat Electric heaters. It lets the 56 in Tungsten sit flush in a ceiling box so the housing disappears and only the heating face shows, the finished way to build Tungsten heat into a covered patio, porch or restaurant ceiling. A black version (BH8180011) is listed separately.

Installation Notes
Build the ceiling box first: Bromic notes the box is supplied by the installer and should be Hardie, cement board or similar, and recommends lining joists with fireproof insulation if the box sits above them. Fasten the frame to the box, mount the heater on its brackets, and use ceramic or high-heat wire nuts for the connections.
In New York City, a new heater circuit on a terrace, balcony or roof requires a licensed electrician and an electrical permit, and co-op or condo boards often require approval, so plan the wiring before you order.

Which heaters does it fit?
The 3000W and 6000W Tungsten Smart-Heat Electric heaters (56 in). The 2000W and 4000W heaters use BH8180096 (white) or BH8180010 (black).
Is the ceiling box included?
No. Bromic expects the installer to build the box from cement board or a similar material.
Can I wire the two elements separately?
Yes. The kit comes with 5 wires so dual element models can be switched independently or together.

Warranty
Per the current listing, Bromic covers the recess kit under its one year parts warranty on the heater series, for the original owner; labor is not included. Repairs must be carried out by a Bromic authorized service agent. See the Bromic warranty for full terms.
