Installation Notes
For an in-wall installation frame a cavity at least 41.6 in wide, 6.5 in deep and 18.5 in high; for wall mounting use the supplied bracket, or attach the feet for tabletop use. Plug it directly into a grounded 120 V, 15 A outlet; Dimplex calls for a dedicated circuit if the breaker trips when the heater runs.
In New York City, a plug-in electric fireplace needs no gas line, venting or permit, which is why it suits apartments; a hardwired connection or a new circuit should be done by a licensed electrician.
