The Fire Magic 23150-52 insulating liner lets you build the Aurora A540i and Choice C540i 30 in built-in grills into an island with combustible framing, such as wood studs, by lining the opening with an insulated 304 stainless box that carries the unit on its hanger. Fire Magic requires an insulating liner whenever this equipment goes into a combustible island, and the countertop itself must still be non-combustible.

Frame the island opening to the liner dimensions above (37 in wide, 22 1/8 in deep, 12 1/4 in high), set the liner, then install the appliance into the liner following its own installation manual, including its ventilation and gas connection requirements.
