The Fire Magic Legacy 30 inch built-in smoker charcoal grill (14-SC01C-A) brings real charcoal cooking to a masonry outdoor kitchen. A crank handle raises and lowers the charcoal pans while you cook, a front access door lets you add or spread coals without lifting the grids, and the angled smoker hood has adjustable air shutters to control the burn for low and slow cooking. A charcoal shield for indirect cooking and a warming rack are part of the smoker package.

Installation Notes
Fire Magic says built-in models must be installed in masonry or another fireproof enclosure, with 18 in of side and back clearance from unprotected combustibles such as wood, plastic or wood-framed stucco, and never under unprotected flammable surfaces or inside a building, garage or enclosed area. Do not pile charcoal more than 1 in above the pan. Open-flame charcoal cooking is restricted on many New York City terraces and rooftops, so confirm with your building or co-op first. No. Fire Magic requires a masonry or other fireproof enclosure, with 18 in from unprotected combustibles at the sides and back.
How do I control the heat?
Crank the charcoal pans up or down, and use the smoker hood's air shutters to slow or speed the burn.
Does the warranty cover labor?
No. Fire Magic's written warranty does not cover labor or labor-related charges.
Can I use it under a covered patio?
Only with a non-combustible chimney and exhaust hood over the grill and a fan of at least 1,000 CFM, per Fire Magic.

Warranty
R.H. Peterson Co. warrants Fire Magic charcoal stainless steel grills and smokers for five years, except the charcoal pan, charcoal grid, wood pellet screen, thermometer and ash tray, which are covered for one year, for the original purchaser in single family residential use. The warranty does not apply to rust, corrosion, oxidation or discoloration unless the affected part becomes inoperable, and it does not cover labor.
