The Fire Magic Premium Flush 53820SC is a 14 1/2 in wide louvered door with a slide-out tray for a standard propane cylinder, the Fire Magic way to keep the tank for a propane grill inside the island. You choose the hinge side when you order. The flush face matches Echelon Diamond and Aurora grills.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

  • You will need: a finished island opening of 21 x 14 1/2 x 20 1/2 in (H x W x D) and silicone caulk

Installation Notes

There is no gas or electrical connection. Fire Magic calls for installation by a qualified professional using the exact cut-out for the model: apply silicone caulk behind the trim, slide the unit fully into the opening and fasten it through the installation screw slots. Use the Fire Magic BK-1 bracket kit where the island wall is 1 1/2 to 2 1/4 in thick, and make sure the island enclosure is vented as your grill manual requires.

Fire Magic warns never to locate a cylinder under or near a grill unless there is enough ventilation and shielding to keep the regulator and hose from heating. Follow any instructions packed with the door and your grill manual for the tank installation method.

Is this the right door for a propane tank?

Yes. It is louvered and has a tank tray; Fire Magic requires a louvered door for propane cylinder storage.

What cut-out does it need?

21 in high, 14 1/2 in wide and 20 1/2 in deep, per Fire Magic.

Which hinge should I pick?

Pick the side that lets the door swing away from the grill or the nearest corner. The hinge is fixed by model.

Warranty

Fire Magic warrants Premium Flush and Echelon Black (5 Series) doors, drawers and pantries for three (3) years from the date of purchase (Fire Magic install specifications L-C2-358 REV 5). The warranty applies to the original purchaser, for products installed in the United States or Canada and used in single family residential settings, and requires proof of purchase.
