Description
Description
Fire Magic Select 4-Series 17-Inch Vertical Single Access Door - 44924
The tallest single door in the 2027 Fire Magic Select 4-Series, built in 304 stainless steel for a 25 in by 17 1/2 in island opening. The extra height and width over the 14 1/2 in door make this the one to choose when the cabinet behind it has to take a propane tank, a bulk bag of charcoal or a stack of cleaning supplies rather than just a few tools.
Double-wall construction, square-edge detailing and a continuous full-perimeter rain guard are shared across the series. Choose the hinge side to suit the layout: 44924-SR is right-hinged, 44924-SL is left-hinged.
Key Features
- Largest single-door opening in the series. 25 in by 17 1/2 in swallows a tank or a full-height bin that the narrower doors in the line cannot reach past.
- 304 stainless steel throughout. The grade that resists pitting and staining outdoors, including in coastal and poolside air.
- Double-wall construction. Two skins rather than one, so a door this size still feels solid and does not flex or drum when it shuts.
- Heavy-duty magnetic latch. Holds shut against wind with nothing mechanical to wear out or fall out of adjustment.
- Continuous rain guard. Full-perimeter sealing, which matters more on a large door because there is more edge for water to find.
- Exterior mounting with square-edge detailing. The frame sits proud of the island face, so it is forgiving of an opening that is slightly out of square.

- One Select 4-Series vertical single access door in the hinge configuration ordered

Required to Complete the Installation
Nothing further is required. This is an exterior-mounted door with no gas or electrical connection and no separate frame kit to buy. It needs a finished island opening of 25 in high by 17 1/2 in wide.
Decide the hinge side before ordering, because it is set by the model number and is not changed in the field. 44924-SR is right-hinged and 44924-SL is left-hinged. If the cabinet behind this door will hold a propane tank, consider the louvered 44920-1 instead or in addition, since a sealed cabinet holding a tank needs ventilation.
Optional Accessories and Matching Units
The Select 4-Series also includes the 14 1/2 in vertical door (44920), horizontal single doors at 20 1/2 in and 24 1/2 in wide (44914, 44917), a vertical door with louvers for propane tank ventilation (44920-1), double access doors at 30 in and 39 in (44930S, 44938S) and the 31 in large utility drawer (44830-S). Matching units are linked below.

Note on documentation: Fire Magic has not yet published a 4-Series specific installation sheet. The cut-out dimensions for every 4-Series model are identical to the corresponding Select 3-Series model, so the installation specifications above cover this opening. Cut-out figures published here are taken from the current Fire Magic price list effective October 1, 2026.
Warranty
