Plan the stove location from the IronStrike clearance and hearth pad tables, which change with single-wall or double-wall connector pipe and with corner or alcove placement. Use dry seasoned wood only, and have a certified hearth installer set the stove and chimney with an inspection under local code. New York City does not permit new wood-burning fireplaces or wood-burning heaters (Local Law 38 of 2015); we sell this model for installations outside the five boroughs where local code allows it.
