The Kingsman HBZDV3628 is a 36 in zero-clearance direct vent gas fireplace with a dual burner, realistic flame pattern and Designer Clean View technology, which leaves a clean glass front with no louvers. It is sold in natural gas or propane, with a millivolt or electronic (IPI) valve, and an optional brick or porcelain liner. It suits a new-build or renovated wall where you want a sealed, vented fireplace with a large 28,000 BTU burner.

What Is Included and What You Will Need
- Included: fireplace with Clean View kit and standard matte black liner; the variant selected determines fuel, ignition, media and liner.
- Required: Kingsman burnt oak log set LOGC44 (selected as the media option; Log Bits optional), direct vent pipe and termination, a gas line, and a licensed installer.
- Optional: fan kit, wall-mount millivolt or programmable thermostat, remote control, and the wall mount battery holder (WMBH) for IPI models.
Installation Notes
Install per the Kingsman manual with approved Kingsman flex or hard-pipe venting, observing vent termination clearances (keep 24 in clear of the termination cap). Propane horizontal runs need at least one foot of vertical vent before the first elbow. With the Clean View kit, the floor or hearth may rise up to 3 in (combustible) or 7 in (non-combustible) above the bottom of the fireplace. A licensed gas fitter must install it, and NYC and Long Island projects need permits. Book a design consultation and we will plan the vent route and framing.

Is it vented to the outside?
Yes. It is a sealed direct vent unit vented through a side wall or roof with Kingsman approved vent systems.
Natural gas or propane, millivolt or electronic?
All four combinations are offered. Millivolt works without household power; the IPI version uses electronic ignition and the wall mount battery holder keeps it running in a power failure.
Do I have to buy the log set?
The listing marks the LOGC44 burnt oak log set as required. Choose it, or Log Bits, in the media option.
Can I put a mantel above it?
Yes, within the mantel clearances in the manual, and painted mantels need a heat-resistant finish rated 250 F.

Warranty
Per the Kingsman manual: basic one (1) year warranty on component parts including labor, and a limited lifetime warranty on the heat exchanger, combustion chamber and burner for the original owner (labor and freight not covered under the lifetime terms).
