The Kingsman ZCV34 with ceramic glass is a 34 inch dedicated Clean View zero clearance direct vent gas fireplace for new construction or renovation. It has a 28 5/8 in by 25 3/8 in viewing area and up to 19,000 BTU, with millivolt or ProFlame II electronic ignition that keeps working in a power failure. An optional vented chase gives cool touch walls above the fireplace, which suits a TV mount.

Installation Notes

Choose a vented or non-vented chase before framing, because the manual gives separate framing, clearance and facing rules for each. Face materials on a non-vented chase must be non-combustible. For an island with a top vent, the horizontal vent run may not exceed 20 ft. Install natural gas or propane only as shown on the rating plate. A licensed gas fitter must install it. In New York City, gas fireplace work must be done by a licensed professional under a DOB permit, and the direct vent route should be planned before ordering. What is the difference between the ZCV34 H and non-H models?

H models have ceramic glass. Non-H models use Low E tempered glass. This listing covers the H ceramic glass models.

Can I mount a TV above it?

Kingsman offers a vented chase option for cooler walls and reduced mantel clearances. Follow the manual for the chase, mantel height and facing requirements, and check your TV maker limits.

Does it work in a power failure?

Yes. Millivolt and IPI valve systems operate during a power failure, and the optional wall mount battery holder supports IPI models.

Is media included?

No. This listing sets media as a required separate choice, so pick logs, rocks, stones or glass before ordering.

Warranty

Per the Kingsman manual: a basic one year warranty replaces any component found defective in materials or workmanship, including labor, excluding accent light bulbs, gasketing, glass fronts and paint. The heat exchanger, combustion chamber and burner are covered for the period the original owner owns the product, with replacement parts only (labor, freight and handling are not covered).
