The Kingsman ZCV42 with ceramic glass is a 42-inch zero clearance direct vent gas fireplace built as a dedicated Clean View appliance, for new construction or renovation. It offers a large 33-11/16" x 27-3/16" viewing area, up to 29,500 BTU, and millivolt or electronic ignition that keeps operating in a power failure.

Installation Notes
Install natural gas or propane only as shown on the rating plate. Choose a non-vented or vented chase before framing, because the manual gives separate framing, clearance, mantel and facing requirements for each. Keep vertical vent pipe 1 inch from combustibles and follow the manual for mantel heights and facing materials. In New York City, gas fireplace work must be done by a licensed professional under a DOB permit, and the direct vent route should be planned before ordering. Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the ceramic and tempered glass ZCV42?
The ceramic glass models are the NH and NHE series. Kingsman requires Robax ceramic or coated Neoceram for replacement glass on them, while the N and NE series use tempered glass.
Does it work in a power failure?
Yes. The millivolt and IPI valve systems operate during a power failure, and the optional wall mount battery holder supports IPI models.
Can I mount a TV above it?
Kingsman offers a vented chase option for cooler walls and reduced mantel clearances. Follow the manual for the chase, mantel height and facing requirements, and check your TV maker limits.
Is media included?
No. This listing sets media as a required separate choice, so pick logs, rocks, stones or glass before ordering.

Warranty
Per the Kingsman manual: a basic one year warranty replaces any component found defective in materials or workmanship, including labour, excluding accent light bulbs, gasketing, glass fronts and paint. The heat exchanger, combustion chamber and burner are covered for the period the original owner owns the product, with replacement parts only (labour, freight and handling are not covered).
