Installation Notes

Frame the Jade 32 at 37 in. wide and 17-3/4 in. deep with the header installed on end, and keep 31 in. from the top of the appliance opening to the ceiling. It vents only with Hearth & Home Technologies SLP pipe and needs unswitched 110-120 VAC power and a gas line; follow the mantel and wall projection charts in the installation manual. Majestic recommends installation by HHT factory-trained or NFI certified professionals. In New York City, direct vent gas fireplaces are installed under the NYC Fuel Gas Code by a licensed plumber with DOB filing where required, and the vent termination location usually decides feasibility.
